Hard-wearing and made from woven polypropylene, these tarpaulin sheets are perfect as protective cover sheets, especially for cargo control.

The tarpaulin is made of polypropylene with a density of 190 grams/sq.m and is used to protect the cargo from external precipitation as much as possible. The use of tarpaulin is most expedient when transporting bulk cargoes in gondola wagons. Thus, the tarpaulin lays down on the hill already formed by the cargo and is fastened around the perimeter, which excludes the accumulation of precipitation and their ingress on the cargo during the intermediate downtime of the wagon.

The design of the tarpaulin is a tightly rectangular shape, with hinged side covers equipped with hinges every 150 cm of the canvas and designed for fastening.

The tarpaulin is placed in the gondola wagon, the side and end covers are folded 20 cm over the sides of the gondola wagon.

The standard dimensions of the tarpaulin are considered to be the following values:

• Length: 13.2 m
• Width: 3.2 m

Tarpaulins of the specified dimensions are suitable for most models of open wagons (gondola cars).
